The Amazing, Fabulous, Awesome, Great Wall of China

My son and I were on our way to Singapore and decided to stop in Beijing for a couple of days since it was an airline stopover on the way. It was so cool to see ancient sites such as the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace of Emperors and a time gone by. But they paled in comparison to the Great Wall of China which was a sight to behold. Miles and miles and miles of brick fortress topping the mountain ranges for as far as the eye could see. It was great to be able to bring this part of history to life for my 16 year old son as he begins to study world history this year.
