Family Vacation

We have always wanted to stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, this year we got to make it happen. We booked a room for 3 nights. After booking that room we decided that we would change the booking from a regular room to the gold floor lakeview room. This was a huge treat for our family, we were so glad we did it. The service we got on the gold floor was out of this world. The lounge was lovely, check in was a breeze. When we got to our room we couldn't believe the size of the room, then we opened the curtains to see that view and let me tell you that view is worth a million dollars.
How we even decided to come to Lake Louise is our 6 year old has been wanting to learn how to snowboard so after giving it some thought, what better place to learn than in the Rocky Mountains so we picked Lake Louise. We are from Windsor Ontario so it wasn't lets pack up the car for the afternoon and head over to Lake Louise. We had to get on a plane and head to Alberta.
After staying here for 3 nights we loved the service, the hotel, the lake, the skating, the ice sculptures and the horse sleigh ride we decided to stay one more night. Our 3 night trip turned into a 4 night trip and once again we were glad we did that, it gave us more time to enjoy the grounds and the hotel.
Our son got to snowboard over at Lake Louise Ski for 3 days, we signed him up for lessons which I am so glad we did the staff over at the ski resort was wonderful.
Our vacation was packed with family, many laughs, tons of fun, tons of fresh mountain air and most important memories that we as a family will remember forever.
Thank you Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for a wonderful family vacation that we will never forget.
