View from St. Petri (St. Peter's Church), The Binnen Alster (inner Alster), the smaller of two artificial lakes in Hamburg. Jungfernstieg, Hamburg's most elegant shopping street, is at the far left. The Alster Pavillon (Alster Pavilion), a famous restaurant, is in the Alster at the far end of Jungfernstieg. The large building with a green roof is Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, an elegant hotel where my family stayed at the time of the launching in 1964 (see that set).
