Standing 577 m (1,893 ft) high, the recently opened Makkah Clock Royal Tower, a Fairmont Hotel, is among the world’s tallest structures. Its outstanding clock is visible from up to 17 km (11 mi) away and announces daily prayers to the Muslim world.

The hotel is the focal point of the iconic Abraj Al Bait Complex, part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project, whose mandate is to develop the precincts of the Two Holy Mosques.

The Makkah Clock Royal Tower features 858 elegant rooms as well as Fairmont Gold, an exclusive "hotel within a hotel" for the discerning guest.

Visitors can choose accommodations overlooking either the Kaaba (House of God), said to be built by Abraham and Ismail (Peace Be Upon Them), or the Haram (Holy City).

In addition to the opulent and elegant comfort of the rooms and suites offered at the five-star hotel, 76 state-of-the-art elevators provide easy access to the holy Masjid al Haram for prayers. And, at any time, nine exceptional dining venues are available and can accommodate intimate as well as expansive gatherings.

As a landmark presence in the Holy City, the Makkah Clock Royal Tower also hosts the Lunar Observation Center and the Islamic Museum, which will serve to protect the Islamic heritage for future generations.
